KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 25): Former Attorney-General (AG) Tan Sri Tommy Thomas asserted that former Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC) director Datuk Prof Dr N Sundra Rajoo’s predecessors were not provided with legal immunity. 

Thomas, in his affidavit in support of his application to strike out Sundra Rajoo’s malicious prosecution lawsuit, highlighted that the purported legal immunity AIAC directors possess was only introduced in 2011 — around a year after Sundra Rajoo took the post.
