18 Mar - Tony Leung Chiu Wai recently expressed elation to have won the Hong Kong Film Directors' Guild Best Actor accolade, but most of all to have received it from director Johnnie To.

As reported on Mingpao, the already legendary actor, who spoke to the media at the annual dinner where he and several other filmmakers were honoured, said that he was particularly happy to accept the award from the director, whom first directed Tony in his 1984 series, "The Duke of Mount Deer", as it felt like a recognition.
