My grandfather time cyclists are better than today's ones. They have headlights on for night riding and are better at giving way to pedestrians. Today cyclists don't need to educates them but to be effective just Fined them and words were travel very fast.

LTA and TP should educate cyclist! Cyclists need to know that they MUST dismount and push the bicycle when crossing a pedestrian crossing and traffic lights. PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. Thank you.

You may be disappointed to know cyclists need not have to dismount and push bicycles when crossing the zebra crossing and at traffic junctions. Approved by LTA and TP

In any case, this will hopefully serve as a reminder for all road users to be careful whether they're driving, stopping or alighting. At the end of the day, this entire incident seems to be the result of very unfortunate timing, as well as some poor and careless decisions .
