KUALA LUMPUR: Traffic along several federal roads in Gua Musang, Kelantan are reported to be heavy as the number of vehicles from Kuala Lumpur rise as of 10 pm.

Gua Musang police chief Superintendent Sik Choon Foo said congestion at the Gua Musang-Kuala Lipis border has exceeded 10 kilometres, twice that of this morning.

"Traffic is slow moving and we expect the number of vehicles to continue to rise from midnight till early next morning," he said, adding that they were conducting dispersals at regular intervals and personnel were on duty in turns to ensure traffic was moving in a controlled fashion.
