SINGAPORE - Commuters were met with delays during their morning travel after a disruption on the Circle Line (CCL) on April 29.
Transport operator SMRT said in an update to a Facebook post at 7am that train services are affected due to a train fault at 6.05am, and advised commuters to add up to 30 minutes of travel time between Paya Lebar and HarbourFront stations.
“Our engineers and staff are doing their best to resolve the issue... We are sorry for affecting your morning commute,” SMRT said.

with the high budget for public transport, the ministry had seeks for maintenance use. Yet, train fault is the problem commuters face and suffer. is this regime they adopted is flawed or money is "misuse" elsewhere ie entertainment, lucrative accommodation? we need check and balance in this sector. we cannot trust all is well with the reigning government as records shows.

This downtime period is when most people would likely to travel either to school or work. Such breakdown would have caused much inconvenience to many even though shutter bus services is provided

Blame the ex Isawaran or the present Chee Hong Tat?Minister of Transport.....are you listening!?Our public transport are making millions on daily basis;this kind of hiccups should not happened especially when citizens' routines are mostly on sustenance not joyrides!!!Useless fxxk but earning millions!!!!
