Trevor Noah is the host of the 2022 Grammys this year, and it seemed nearly impossible that we would make it through the entire ceremony without a joke about Will Smith’s Oscars slap heard round the world since it only went down one single week ago. Turns out, we didn’t have to wait long. The joke came during the opening monologue. At the end of the monologue, Trevor Noah quipped that tonight, “We’ll be keeping people’s names out of our mouths," which is a riff on what Will shouted at the Oscars.
