MIRI (March 29): The Sessions Court here today fixed the trial date of two police corporals who were charged in connection with the rape of a minor by a detainee in the Miri Central Police Station lockup in January this year.

Judge Mohd Taufik Mohd @ Mohd Yusoff set Sept 20 to 24 for a joint trial after allowing an application by Sarawak Director of Prosecution Mohammad Al-Saifi Hashim.
