Trial postponed as Najib wants to speak in Parliament

KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court was forced to postpone the 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) trial involving Datuk Seri Najib Razak today as the Pekan member of parliament needed to be in parliament to deliver a speech.

They are very democratik. A person suspected and charged with embezzling millions of public funds is also an MP. He is innocent until proVen guilty. Meanwhile he can maintain his role as a member of parliament, like any onec else. I don't think this can hapen in other neighboring countries.
