MELAKA: A link between Melaka and Sumatra will be developed with the cooperation of the private sector.

The proposed 120km link, between Telok Gong in Masjid Tanah here and Dumai in Sumatra, will involve the construction of a tunnel or bridge and take 20 years to build.
