KUALA LUMPUR: TUSAS Malaysia Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Turkish Aerospace Industries, Inc., has announced a groundbreaking achievement, with the unveiling of the successful design, manufacturing, and assembly of the first domestically-built avionics system for a jet aircraft.

TUSAS Malaysia in a statement said the remarkable feat, led by almost 100 per cent Malaysian engineers, signifies a pivotal moment in the nation's aviation history, placing Malaysia on the map with capabilities to design and manufacture electronics and computers that control vital aircraft functions.
