Singer Jeongyeon, of the K-pop girl group Twice, made a surprise appearance during the 30th Seoul Music Awards held on Jan 31 in South Korea.

The 24-year-old joined her group mates on stage after taking a three-month break.

In October 2020, Jeongyeon stepped away from the limelight as she was suffering from “psychological anxiousness” centring around her work schedule.

At that point of time, Twice was about to release its second full-length album Eyes Wide Open and had to do a lot of promotional activities.

At this recent awards show, Jeongyeon (with a brand new hairstyle) and the other eight members performed the songs I Can’t Stop Me and More & More from the album, live for the first time together.

Twice also won an award that night.

After the event, the group shared a photo on Twitter with all the nine members together with the caption 9WICE.

And Jeongyeon shared a photo of herself on Twice's official Instagram. Her own Instagram account has been idle since September last year.
