PETALING JAYA: Men's singles shuttler Ng Tze Yong has officially left the national team, with his departure taking effect on June 30.

The announcement was made by the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) on Thursday (June 25) after both parties agreed to part ways, with Tze Yong set to continue his career as an independent player.
