U.S. stocks close higher
NEW YORK, May 3 (Xinhua) -- U.S. stocks ended higher on Friday.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 450.02 points, or 1.18 percent, to 38,675.68. The S&P 500 added 63.59 points, or 1.26 percent, to 5,127.79. The Nasdaq Composite Index increased by 315.37 points, or 1.99 percent, to 16,156.33.
