US AI gaming firm GameRamp raises $5.4m to launch new services
GameRamp, a company developing AI tools for mobile games and consumer apps headquartered in San Francisco with a Bangalore R&D hub, has raised US$5.4 million in pre-seed funding led by BITKRAFT Ventures.
Other investors include South Park Commons, Mixi, DeVC, and several unnamed global angels.
The funds will be used to expand GameRamp’s engineering and AI teams in the US and India, and to launch two new services for developers.
The company was founded by Vivek Ramachandran and Sashank Vandrangi.
GameRamp plans to introduce Sentinel, an AI platform for real-time personalization of in-game economies, and Grow, a financing tool for app developers.
BITKRAFT Ventures partner Anuj Tandon said the investment aligns with the fund’s focus on emerging markets.
GameRamp’s technology is aimed at helping developers optimize monetization and user experience in mobile apps and games.

GameRamp’s timing aligns with a dramatic transformation in how games generate revenue, moving from traditional game sales to sophisticated in-game economies.
The video game industry has experienced a fundamental revenue shift toward in-game purchases, with games like Fortnite generating over $1 billion from in-game purchases out of their total $2.4 billion in revenue1.
This shift has created enormous demand for B2B solutions that can optimize these complex in-game economies, as competition for player attention and spending intensifies1.
The AI-powered approach GameRamp offers addresses this demand directly. Studies indicate that AI integration in in-app purchases can significantly boost conversion rates2.
The broader AI in game development market validates this opportunity, with projections showing growth from $2.6 billion in 2025 to $25.3 billion by 20343.
GameRamp’s claimed 40-60% revenue increases for partner studios align with documented performance improvements that AI monetization tools are delivering across the mobile gaming industry.
The company’s $5.4 million pre-seed funding reflects investor confidence in this market transformation, particularly as traditional publisher funding models give way to venture capital backing for technology-focused gaming infrastructure companies4.
