US security startup Coram AI raises $35m series B

Coram AI, a Sunnyvale, California-based startup that builds AI software for physical security, has raised US$35 million in a series B round.
The funding was co-led by Ansa Capital and Battery Ventures, with participation from UP.Partners, 8VC, and Mosaic Ventures. This brings its total funding to US$66 million.
The company said it will use the new funding for AI product development, market expansion, customer success, and engineering hires in India.
It added that revenue increased 4x and its customer base tripled since its previous US$13.8 million series A, which brought total funding to US$30 million.
Coram said its platform combines video, access control, visitor logs, and emergency-response workflows.
It serves more than 1,500 sites in the US and Canada and is introducing Deep Investigation. The company also introducing feature news AI-powered investigation feature.
The market for AI-powered physical security software includes vendors such as Verkada and Rhombus.
