It’s a ticketed concert and already sold out, but people can still watch the live stream from other parts of the Sports Hub premises.Beyond the main concert, the Sports Hub area will also host other countdown experiences. One highlight is the transformation of the Beach Volleyball Courts into a “beach club” style countdown, where groups can book picnic-style spots with prepared food. This is also ticketed, with packages for four or eight people, and offers a good view of the fireworks. For those who want to celebrate in central Singapore but avoid the post-event traffic and expensive rides from the Sports Hub, there are other major countdown spots. Marina Bay will host a countdown with light projections on The Fullerton Hotel featuring artworks by artists with disabilities, plus fireworks. Siloso Beach in Sentosa will be the venue for Mediacorp’s “Let’s Celebrate” party, and Clarke Quay will also have its own celebrations, giving central-area revellers several choices.Heartlanders aren’t left out either: there will be seven heartland countdown sites across Singapore. In the west, celebrations will be at Blk 215 Boon Lay Place and Keat Hong Square; in the north, at Woodlands Secondary School, the open field next to FutsalArena @ Yishun, and Woodlands Waterfront Park; in the east, at Our Tampines Hub; and in the northeast, at the large area next to One Punggol. More details for these sites will be announced.
