Unilever’s TRESemme gains PETA approval

THE WHAT? TRESemme has been approved by PETA as ‘not tested on animals’. The hair care label is the 24th brand in Unilever’s portfolio to join the animal rights advocate’s Beauty without Bunnies list.
THE DETAILS The move is part of the UK-based FMCG giant’s wider Positive beauty vision, which aims to do more good for people and planet. As part of this commitment, Unilever is advocating for a global animal testing ban for cosmetics by 2023.
