Unlicensed driver escapes from police on foot in geylang, bites officer

The Police have arrested a 43-year-old man for injuring a Police officer, driving dangerously, and driving without a driving licence on 24 July 2024. He will be charged in court on 26 July 2024.
On 24 July 2024 at 1.40pm, Traffic Police officers conducted an operation along Java Road, and directed a van to stop for checks. The 43-year-old male driver did not stop and sped off. He did it in a dangerous manner, before stopping his van at the junction of Sims Way and Geylang Road and fleeing on foot. Officers gave chase and managed to stop him along Lorong 9 Geylang. While the officers were trying to detain the man, he bit one of the officers on his left forearm. Despite his injury, the officer managed to subdue and arrest the man together with another officer.

Driving without a valid license itself is like playing with a fully loading gun with its safty pin pulled and roaming ign the public place around. This guy should be deal with seriously with not consideration.
