KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 9): Utusan Melayu (M) Bhd executive chairman Datuk Abd Aziz Sheikh Fadzir has today confirmed the cessation of the newspaper publisher's operations through a telephone call with a Human Resource Ministry official.  

According to a statement by the ministry, matters dicusssed in the telephone conversation were the same as those stated in Utusan Melayu's circular today.
