Vast Data, an AI infrastructure software company, and CrowdStrike said on September 2 that they are integrating CrowdStrike security tools into Vast’s AI Operating System to help protect AI infrastructure, enterprise data access, and data pipelines used in production AI.

The companies said the integrations can help identify sensitive or risky information, and threats such as prompt injection and jailbreak attempts.

Vast audit telemetry will integrate with CrowdStrike’s Falcon Next-Gen security information and event management (SIEM), while Falcon Guardian will integrate with Vast InsightEngine.

Native support for the Falcon sensor on Vast is certified and available now.

The SIEM and Guardian integrations are in private preview.

The focus reflects wider concern among enterprises that prompt injection can leak data, trigger unintended actions, and expose proprietary information in AI-powered business applications.

It also aligns with National Institute of Standards and Technology guidance that organizations should monitor and document AI system behavior and impacts, highlighting the role of logging and traceability in AI governance and security.
