Vera Wang is embracing the big 7-5, and did so by wowing in a seriously chic (and unique) little black dress!

Earlier this week, Wang turned heads with photos from her 75th birthday celebration. And in the photos she shared on Instagram, we can see her looking like a stylish goddess. She posted the photos with the caption reading, “Just celebrating my 75 9/10 – 76th birthday NEW YORK TIME with my Parisian crew and a few others who have been lifelong besties ! Thank you all for this special special night! 🖤🇫🇷🎂 Dress: #VeraWangHAUTE.”

In the snapshots, we see Wang looking so darn gorgeous as she rocks a scoop-neck little black dress, which also had sheer paneling in the middle of her legs. It’s cool, it’s unique, and it’s the perfect edgy look that Wang is known for wowing in.

Now, this birthday was long-awaited by her fans, and she even commented on it. “Birthday plans are up in the air. I mean, 75 is a lot of pressure. I think maybe a little bit like Warren Buffett [age 93] or Queen Elizabeth II [who reigned the British monarchy for seven decades until she was 96], I’m just going to keep prodding on because I feel as though I’m able to do my best work more and more,” Wang shared back in 2024. But now, she’s embracing her new age in style.

Along with being a confident superstar, Wang is insanely proud of her age, often saying how she doesn’t understand ageism in the world, telling the BBC perYahoo Life that she finds ageism “so old-fashioned.” She added, “You have to try and continue to grow in one way or another.”
