PETALING JAYA: Ambassador to China Datuk Raja Nushirwan Zainal Abidin has been appointed the new National Security Council (NSC) director-general effective immediately, says Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Mohd Zuki Ali.

In a press statement congratulating Raja Nushirwan on Tuesday (May 30), Mohd Zuki said he hoped the appointment would help spearhead NSC’s efforts in formulating comprehensive, integrated and effective policy as well as national security management.
