A tragic road accident in Malaysia led to the death of a 17-year-old male. He was riding on a motorcycle when he crashed violently into another bike on the road.

The incident was said to have taken place at around 7:40pm on 11 June 2024.

According to Malaysian media, the deceased teenager was travelling alone on a road in Pasir Puteh district, Kelantan. Another motorcycle, which was carrying two men, had lost control, causing them to collide head-on with the teen.

The accident caused the two men — aged 18 and 21 — to suffer serious injuries and were rushed to hospital.

However, the boy was not as fortunate and died on the spot.

A graphic video showing the accident's aftermath soon began circulating online and has gone viral.

The video showed the vehicles reduced to ruins, with their broken parts littered across the road. One of the victims was lying on the ground, seemingly injured quite severely, and was held by another person.

The video panned out and captured a severed leg quite a distance away from the victims, to the horror of many who have watched the video.

The case is currently undergoing investigation and the police are appealing for anybody with information to come forward.
