Vietnamese fishermen throw equipment, pour diesel on boat floor as MMEA officers seize boat off Tok Bali

PASIR PUTEH: The Kelantan Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) detained 13 Vietnamese fishermen and seized their boat after they were caught illegally fishing in Malaysian waters on Thursday.
Its director, Captain (Maritime) Syed Nor Adli Syed Ab Rahman, said the fishermen, aged between 18 and 53, were detained in their boat at 125 nautical miles from Tok Bali beach at 9.41am, after being pursued for almost two hours.
