Vivo launches elite recruit plan for AI, chips, and XR

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo has launched a global recruitment initiative called the Project Blue Polaris (蓝极星计划). This program aims to hire talents with expertise in artificial intelligence, chip design, and extended reality (XR).
Vivo plans to hire around 100 researchers and engineers under the program and offers uncapped compensation packages to appeal to highly qualified candidates. The initiative is limited to PhD-level applicants, underlining its ambition to compete for elite talent.
