, the owner of the West Coast Expressway, described its second-quarter net loss, which more than doubled to RM26.4mil, as “normal” at this stage of a concession business.

The net loss for the second quarter ended Sept 30, 2025 ballooned from RM10.58mil in the previous corresponding quarter, primarily due to increased interest expenses and amortisation charges following the opening of additional completed sections of the expressway.
