The man who sexually assaulted me just sent me a follow request on instagram

Three years ago, I was casually dating a man when we decided to have S together.

I was technically still recovering from an appendectomy and so we had to be very careful. He repeatedly went too deep, too rough, to the point I told him to stop. He did, but then kept badgering me until I gave in.

I was happy when we ran out of rubber, because I thought we’d be over it now, but he still kept asking despite me being clear about not wanting to be unsafe(r).

He then tried to finger me, and eventually just entered me fully without asking. It was traumatic, and I had to take plan b.

I then spent 6 months being his “best friend” whilst he emotionally manipulated me into believing he changed and he just made a mistake.

I then found out that many women had been assaulted by him in varying ways.

I also found out that his friend group (who publicly admonished him once his actions were made public on social media) were aware of at least one girl.

I blocked him, I blocked the friend group. He later ended up convincing my best friend that I was lying (“how can I coerce her when I didnt even threaten her?”) and slept with her. (He doesn’t know I know this as he thought we stopped being friends.)

Now, he’s found God. He made a new instagram account with a single post that says “fresh new slate”. And he sent me a follow request.

It’s crazy because I asked him what he wants, and I know I should just block him and I cant understand this urger to find out.
