All Elite Wrestling star Sarayagot physical in a wrestling ring on Wednesday night for the first time in five years following a devastating career-ending injury.

The former Divas Champion – who became a legend in WWE under the name Paige – recently signed with rivals AEWand despite speculation she hasn’t been cleared for in-ring action, she threw some punches and a superkick on Dynamite.

During the show, Toni Storm, Athena and Willow Nightingale fought Jamie Hayter, Serena Deeb and Penelope Ford, with Saraya and Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. at ringside supporting their respective teams.

In the end, Nightingale got the win for her trio, but things exploded after the bell as a wild brawl errupted.

Saraya exchanged punches with on-screen rival Britt, and rocked Rebel with a superkick.

It comes after plenty of speculation about the British wrestling legend’s in-ring future, and certainly suggests she’s been cleared for action.

Her current AEW run comes after Saraya revealed her neck was in much better shape, and she teased the possibility of getting back in the ring following the devastating injury which looked to have ended her career.

She told the Bella Twins on their podcast: ‘My neck is fantastic. I’m having no issues with it, and it’s looking good. I still want more time, though. I mean, I’ve had nearly five years completely out of the ring, which is, it goes by so quickly.

‘I’m like, “How?” But yeah, I can see myself in the ring one day, but it would have to be something really special and like for like a big moment, even like, for WrestleMania.’

Speaking during her Turning The Page stage show at Starrcast V, she further teased: ‘Having your career taken away from you without you wanting it to, having to retire on not my terms, it was really disappointing.

‘I already knew once my neck got kicked in the middle of the live event match, once I went down, I was like, “This is it, this is the end of my career.” ‘

AEW Dynamite airs Wednesday nights at 1am on Fite TV.
