A movie based on historical facts being adapted to the silver screen, Mat Kilau - Kebangkitan Pahlawan, is currently showing at cinemas nationwide.

To produce an effective historical film while balancing facts, real events and fiction is a tall order, but the film, directed by Syamsul Yusof, managed to do so and set a new benchmark for the national film industry.
