Here is a sampling of the week’s events and how to tune in (all times are Eastern). Note that events are subject to change after publication.

Monday

Watch a performance of Giacomo Puccini’s “La Bohème,” presented by the Metropolitan Opera in New York. The classic opera follows the love and loss of a group of impoverished, bohemian artists living in Paris in the mid-1800s. This performance, which was recorded in 1982, stars Teresa Stratas as Mimì and José Carreras as Rodolfo. The performance is free, and will be available to view for 23 hours after the premiere.
