If you're even a fraction as online as I am, you've certainly seen what can only be described as a modern-day renaissance of the celebrity lookalike competition.

Fueled by Instagram story reshares and legions of ogling twentysomethings obsessed with whomever the current White Boy of the Month may be (I'm looking at you, Paul Mescal), celebrity lookalike contests have been popping up all over the world since late last month.

That's when YouTuber hosted the now-famous Timothée Chalamet lookalike competition in New York City. He incurred a $500 fine for hosting the event at the arch in Washington Square Park with "over 300 patrons," and a contestant even got — but the REAL Timmy T actually showed up, so a win is a win.
