Serial killer nurse Lucy Letby has been heard whining to fellow inmates she's in the "prime of her life" and is wasting away in prison as she serves whole life orders for murdering babies in her care.

Letby, 35, was given 15 whole life sentences after being found guilty of taking the lives of seven innocent newborns and attempting to murder eight more while working in the neo-natal unit at the Countess of Chester Hospital. She is now serving time inside HMP Bronzefield, which houses the country's most dangerous female prisoners. Speaking from inside Houseblock Four where Letby looks set to spend the rest of her life, one inmate told the Mirror that the multiple murderer doesn't have hope she will be released.
