Master of Horror James Wan (The Conjuring) and the producers of Paranormal Witness join forces on this docu-series that tells two tales of supernatural shenanigans — This House Murdered Me (three episodes), and Eerie Hall (two episodes). Judging from the trailer, this is a show that dares you to watch at night...alone.

The Resurrected (Netflix, Oct 9)
More spooky tales ahead. This six-part Taiwanese thriller series stars Shu Qi, Lee Sinjie and Alyssia Chia as mothers embroiled in a dark conspiracy to resurrect a recently-executed human trafficker (Fu Meng-po) — all to avenge their kidnapped daughters. But are the women prepared for the consequences of this act of abomination?

Peacemaker, Season 2 (HBO Max, Oct 9)
Season finale! What fate awaits Peacemaker (John Cena) now that he’s back from Earth-X (aka Nazi Earth)? And what does ARGUS plan to do with the Quantum Unfolding Storage Unit? DC Studios co-head and Peacemaker creator James Gunn says whatever goes down here sets the stage for the upcoming Superman sequel, Man of Tomorrow. So pay attention — this will be in the test.

Parasite’s Choi Woo-shik finds himself in another duplicitous family set-up. In this 12-part rom-com, Jung So-min (Love Next Door) plays a bride-to-be who wins a luxury townhouse in a newlywed lottery — except she’s just broken up with her fiancé. Enter Choi, posing as her fake groom. All they have to do is fool the house inspector for 90 days, the dream home is officially hers. What could possibly go wrong?

The Last Frontier (Apple TV+, Oct 10)
US Marshals meets Con Air in The Blacklist creator Jon Bokenkamp’s latest series — with Extraction director Sam Hargrave on board as one of the executive producers. When a prison transport plane crashes in the Alaskan wilderness, a US Marshal (Jason Clarke) is called in to capture the escape inmates. But you know something’s amiss when the CIA (Haley Bennett) wants in on the action as well.
