We were lucky enough to get tickets to Taylor Swift’s Eras tour concert in Singapore in March.  I like to think that a core memory was formed for myself and my seven-year-old daughter  (“best night of my life, Mommy!”) through this experience.

We had watched her documentary Miss Americana during COVID-19 days, which gave us insights (albeit carefully curated) into Swift’s ability to role-switch between girl-next-door and global superstar and forge intimate personal connections with fans across all ages. The last six months had us both pre-gaming by singing along to all her songs on repeat.
