What the 'NKH' patch worn by Kansas City Chiefs players means

If you're watching Super Bowl LVIII and have missed seeing the Kansas City Chiefs 2023-2024 season, you may notice something different on the team's jerseys:
A patch featuring a football embedded with the initials "NKH."
The initials on the patch stand for Norma Knobel Hunt, the matriarch of the Hunt family, which owns the Kansas City Chiefs. She passed away in June of last year. Hunt, herself, a minority owner in the team, was married to the Chiefs' founder Lamar Hunt who died in 2006.
