FIFA World Cup 2026 (mewatch, from June 12 to July 20)
For the first time in FIFA history, the event is co-hosted by three countries — the US, Mexico and Canada. During this period, expect fewer blood donors, a productivity dip, high malingering… general slackness. If you’ve signed up for the FIFA World Cup 2026 subscription (at S$118), you can catch all 104 matches ‘live’ and on-demand via two dedicated channels. As for the others, fret not: 28 matches — including the opening match, 23 group stage matches, two semi-finals, 3rd/4th place match and the final – will be available for free on Channel 5 and simulcast on mewatch. Kick off with the match between Mexico and South Africa from Mexico City at 3am SGT. (The opening ceremony starts at 1.30am) Click here for the full schedule.
