SINGAPORE — From Oct 1, all foreign-registered vehicles entering Johor from Singapore must have a Vehicle Entry Permit (VEP), though those without one can still enter the country, but receive a warning.
If you have not already registered for your permit, you can find out more here.

They want to implement VEP but can't even handle the situations to fulfill their obligations when we apply on lie to get the VEP approval and RFID. and now if we go i they give us warning, but no clarity how long is this going to be. we may need fo more often even after applying on line whilst wating for approval. And they are implenting this but should extend for thosee who still do not have a VEP. without warning. perhaps give deadline till end of this year so that they more resource

and have more time get all on line applications approved. Extend VEP till uear as school holidya are near and more will visit JB. SO how good and true that they will just let of with a warning if we have to go in and out dl often during period. There is no clarity at all from the authorities

The VEP prop has been discussed for a long time and it is not ready to be implemented properly. My advice don’t travel if no permit.
