Todd Chrisley and wife Julie Chrisley are officially preparing to leave prison after getting pardoned by President Donald Trump, but when will the controversial couple be back on the streets?

Trump revealed on May 27 that he will pardon the reality stars, who were found guilty of tax evasion and bank fraud in 2022. The couple was found to have defrauded Atlanta-area community banks to get more than $36 million in personal loans. Todd was sentenced to 12 years, while Julie was sentenced to 7.

When Will Todd & Julie Chrisley Get Out of Prison?

Todd and Julie could get released from prison as soon as May 28, according to Trump. “I hope we can do it by tomorrow,” Trump, 78, told Todd and Julie’s daughter Savannah Chrisley and son Chase Chrisley over the phone on Tuesday, May 27, in a video shared via X

“Is that OK? We’ll try getting it done tomorrow. I don’t know them but give them my regards. Wish them a good life,” the president added.

Savannah, who has been raising her younger two siblings, Grayson, 19, and Chloe, 12, since their parents reported to prison in January 2023, has been lobbying for their release. “For the past two and a half years, I’ve done everything in my power to fight for my parents’ freedom and bring them home,” Savannah said in a statement to E! News on Tuesday. “This moment is the answer to countless prayers, and I am beyond grateful to President Trump for seeing the truth and restoring my family.”

“Today is a victory for our family, but the fight against wrongful convictions and injustice within our prison system is far from over,” Savannah stated. “I will continue to use my voice and platform to advocate for those who do not have one. Family is everything to me, and I will never stop fighting for what is right.”

White House spokesman Harrison Fields also addressed the pardon on Tuesday, saying, per CNBC, “The President is always pleased to give well-deserving Americans a second chance, especially those who have been unfairly targeted and overly prosecuted by an unjust justice system.”

Todd is in prison at Federal Prison Camp Pensacola in Florida, while Julie is at the Federal Medical Center (FMC) Lexington in Kentucky for her sentence.
