When couples split up even before moving into their HDB flats

While it is common for some divorcing couples here to fight over their HDB flats, what’s not so common is that some of these disputes happen even before they move into their new flats.
When such cases happen, one of the spouses will apply for court orders to retain the flats for themselves, especially when they have children, or for permission to sell the flats after the minimum occupation period (MOP) is over.

Probably they buy now and sell later for the profit earnings... Which causes problems for those true buyers who really need it... Maybe the government and HDB should really look into this to give it to those really in need. Maybe putting a term or clauses? Preventing them from selling the HDB flats from 5 to 8 Years? Also... for those 2nd hand flats too...

Hmmm.... it's also to let the couples know each other better and know the meaning of "Family" before settling down to own their property... Also to give a chance to those couples really in need to set up a home...over them...😁😁😁...
