When you think about 90s horror movies, chances are, the cult classic I Know What You Did Last Summer comes to mind (including its sequel, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer). And you’re probably thinking about it even more because of the 2025 sequel.

I Know What You Did Last Summer releases in theaters on July 18, 2025, starring Madelyn Cline, Chase Sui Wonders, Jonah Hauer-King, Tyriq Withers, Sarah Pidgeon, Billy Campbell, Gabbriette Bechtel, and Austin Nichols.

It follows a group of five pals who accidentally kill a pedestrian in a car accident. Instead of going to the cops, they hide the body; but to deadly consequences when a killer taunts them by saying they know what they did.

That’s right, it’s just like the 1997 classic, but even deadlier since there will be quite a few characters from the franchise coming back. Those coming back include the stars Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr, who were the survivors in both I Know What You Did Last Summer and its sequel, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer. But will they survive this new massacre? You’ll have to find out!
