They don’t sing, dance, or act, and their claim to fame are mostly vlogs on social media.
But wait, these aren’t the Kardashian-Jenner clan of sisters we usually associate viral fame with.
Meet Korean-American content creators the Ha Sisters, who breathe a more relatable vibe, and way less drama for now.
The sisters were in Singapore recently for their first fan meet organised by lifestyle brand Baker Beauty. Separated only by metal barricades, their many fans, known as Catcakes, screamed for their attention, giving the girls a welcome usually reserved for K-pop idols as they arrived with security at 313 Somerset.
Surnamed Ha (duh), the New York-based trio — Evelyn, 26, Erica,21, and Emily, 16 — are best known for their lifestyle vlogs revolving around their sisterhood, beauty, travel, and fashion.
They were in Singapore last Thursday (June 26) and shared that they would also be travelling around Asia.
It is not known which other countries they would be visiting.
Before you roll your eyes at what passes for fame and celebrity these days, their following is nothing to scoff at.
The trio have more than 4.6 million subscribers on YouTube alone, while their individual Instagram pages all have at least a million followers.
Fun fact: This isn’t the Ha Sisters’ first time in Singapore.
During their previous visit in June last year, a group of overzealous fans reportedly stormed Raffles Hotel, where the sisters were staying, in hopes of getting autographs and handing over gifts, before being chased off by security.
