Why Simone Biles is Cheekily Calling Out Kylie Jenner’s Fashion “Crime”

Simone Biles’ latest fashion purchase didn’t stick the landing.

The Olympic gymnast playfully shared her thoughts on Kylie Jenner’s Khy clothing line, including how she had an issue with the brand’s sizing.

“Ms. Kylie Jenner, this is a crime !!!!!!” the 28-year-old captioned the June 3 photo on her Instagram Stories, which sees her sporting an oversized wine-colored blazer. She added, alongside a few laughing emojis, “This is not an XXS/XS.”

Indeed, the blazer is quite oversized, as it fits like a dress on her. Though the item wasn’t an ideal fit, the gold medalist is taking the fashion fail with stride. In the following slide, Simone compared her outfit to an edited photo of Gigi Hadid wearing a comically large Vetements hoodie, writing, “this is me on the last slide, SICK.”

E! News has reached out to Kylie’s rep for comment but has not yet heard back.

Kylie’s oversized line of items, which includes blazers and vibrant hoodies, quickly became a hit after its launch last October. At the time, the Kardashians star noted her vision for the brand was to offer size-inclusive, high fashion items at a seemingly accessible price point. (As of now, everything in her traditional line is under $200.)

“Khy is a homage to the limitless possibilities of fashion,” the 26-year-old—mom to Stormi Webster, 7, and Aire Webster, 3, with ex Travis Scott—said in a statement. “We are breaking down barriers and will redefine the meaning of a fashion brand, with creativity and quality at a better price.”

And while Kylie has a soft spot for oversized fashion, she opted for a more fitted look in the brand’s latest collaboration with Turkish-British designer Dilara Findikoglu.

“It has been a dream to partner with Dilara Findikoglu, a brand I’ve worn and admired for years,” she announced of the fashion partnership, which includes cinched halter dresses and corset tops, on Instagram May 24. “We developed a collection that combines femininity and sexiness with meticulous construction.”
