A Massachusetts mother allegedly poisoned her husband’s soup at the urging of an online user claiming to be soap opera star Thorsten Kaye in a sinister catfishing scam.

Roxanne Doucette was charged with attempted murder after she was turned in by her own daughter who found messages from “Kaye” instructing the 64-year-old to off her husband so they could be together, WCVB reported.
