Willowglen MSC gets RM15mil S’pore contract

PETALING JAYA: Willowglen MSC Bhd

’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Willowglen Services Pte Ltd, has been awarded a contract worth RM15.3mil by SP PowerAssets Ltd, Singapore, for the maintenance of partial discharge systems.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the computer systems design services company said the contract commenced yesterday and will be completed by May 31, 2030.

“The contract is expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings and net assets per share for the financial years ending Dec 31, 2025 to 2030.”

The contract is non-renewable, and the associated risks are typical business risks.

For its first quarter ended March 31, 2025, Willowglen MSC’s net profit rose to RM3.02mil from a net loss of RM52,000 in the previous corresponding period, while revenue dipped to RM40.38mil from RM49.28mil a year earlier.

The company said the business environment remains highly competitive and challenging, going forward.
