PETALING JAYA: After coming close in recent editions, Malaysia look poised to make a strong assault on the team sprint gold in track cycling at the Asian Games in Japan next year.

Cycling programme technical director John Beasley has confirmed that Azizulhasni Awang will be focusing more on the team sprint event until the Asian Games.
