A woman charged with murder after the death of a mum at a birthday party in London has appeared in court.

Met Police officers were called at around 1.15am on Sunday to reports of a woman suffering stab injuries in the foyer of a block of flats in Tower Hamlets, east London. Charlotte Lawlor, 31, died at the scene.
