KULIM: A woman sustained injuries to her knees, cheek and hand after attempting to stop a man from snatching her necklace at her home in Taman Kota Kenari here yesterday (April 26).

In the 5pm incident, the 39-year-old woman was in the kitchen with her mother and a friend when two men arrived on a motorcycle.

Kulim police chief Superintendent Zulkifli Azizan said one of the suspects then entered the house armed with a knife and attempted to snatch jewellery worn by the victim's friend.
