A woman was left utterly gobsmacked after she stumbled upon a spine-tingling find beneath the floorboards of her 250-year old home.

As TikTok user, Haunted Amelia, uploaded a video detailing her eerie discovery, she pointed out: "I noticed that there was nothing holding this floorboard down so when you walk on it, it rattles a lot."

Her curiosity led her to pry up the board to see if she could fix it, but instead, she found herself peering at an unexpected object hidden in the debris. Amongst the first items she unearthed was an Edward VII 1904 penny, and then she uncovered what seemed to be a gold-coloured book tucked under additional planks.
