We think we now know where Bruneian heartthrob Wu Chun got his good genes from.

Recently, the 46-year-old former Fahrenheit member shared on Instagram that he had specifically returned from Shanghai to Brunei to celebrate his father's 80th birthday.

According to the actor, his dad, Mr Goh Kim Tian, follows a traditional Chinese belief that major milestone birthdays, such as 60, 70 and 80, should be celebrated before reaching that age rather than on the actual birthday.

As such, the family combined the celebration with an early Father's Day gathering.

But here's what really shocked netizens.

In the photo shared by the actor, Mr Goh was dressed in a pink polo shirt and a baseball cap. He also looked fit and healthy.

Netizens were clearly in awe of how youthful his dad looked.

“How can he be 80? He looks like he's in his 50s!” gushed one netizen.

Another wrote: “A lot of people in their 50s or 60s don't even look this good.”

Besides his physique, many were also impressed by Mr Goh's healthy complexion and straight teeth. Some noted that maintaining such good dental and physical health at an advanced age is quite remarkable.

According to reports, Mr Goh was once a member of the Brunei national basketball team.

After retiring, he became a prominent real estate businessman in Brunei and served as president of the Brunei Amateur Basketball Association. We'd say his remarkably youthful appearance is thanks to decades of regular exercise and fitness training.
