Serangoon residents will be able to enjoy famous Hunan dishes in Nex soon

While it might be disappointing for burger lovers to see Five Guys restaurant closing in Nex, the silver lining is that a new Chinese cuisine establishment will be taking its place.

Xiang Xiang Hunan Cuisine (湘香湖南菜)

Good news for foodies in Serangoon as Xiang Xiang Hunan Cuisine, renowned for its spicy Hunan dishes including the signature stir-fried pork and fragrant Wuchang rice made in mini rice cookers using purified water, is set to make its debut in Serangoon at Nex.

The information was initially shared by the popular Facebook page Singapore Atrium Sale, marking Xiang Xiang’s 7th outlet in Singapore.

Xiang Xiang Hunan Cuisine will be occupying the spot in basement 1 of the mall, which Five Guys previously held for the past three years.

For those unfamiliar with Xiang Xiang Hunan Cuisine, the restaurant has been established since 2009, starting with its original outlet at Chinatown Mosque Street.

Stir-fried Cauliflower (大盘花菜)

In addition to indulging in a variety of delectable Hunan dishes, make sure to try out their Giant Lemon Tea and renowned Wuchang Rice. Similar to Haidilao, Xiang Xiang also offers complimentary snacks and ice cream to all diners, enhancing the overall dining experience.
